Danni has been quite an addition to the Madigan clan! Out of a litter of 7 lovely little puppies, this little black girl caught my eye early on, and it wasn't long before I knew there was no way I could let her go! She has been an absolute joy to have around, such a happy bouncy fun loving girl, and we also think she happens to be pretty darn gorgeous! She got off to a great start in the show ring with 5 points and a best puppy in group in limited showing, a first in her class at the Canadian national Beardie specialty, and a 3rd in a huge puppy sweepstakes class at the American national Beardie specialty, all as a puppy. She took some time off to mature, but made an appearance as a gawky teenager at the 2002 BCCC specialty where despite being rather naked she won Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under breeder-judge Kevin Grew. She has grown into a lovely adult and finished her championship in Sept. 2004, and shown very occasionally as a special has earned multiple group placements. In April 2006 she became a mom, whelping a lovely litter of 7 - see them on the 2006 litter page. From that litter we kept Frankie. A second litter (of 8) came in November 2008. They can be seen on the 2008 litter page. From that litter we kept Lee. At the 2010 BCCC National Specialty she won Best Veteran Bitch under English breeder judge David Hyde at the age of 9, still looking fabulous!
Danni is also our first agility dog! We started her in puppy agility classes when she was just a wee thing, and she has gone on to compete successfully and earn multiple titles in both CKC and AAC agility trials. Her daughter and granddaughter are following in her agility footsteps.
