Dog people are always in need of a place to hang leashes, and for many years a couple of particular leash holder designs were some of my most popular items. One style was made by a local woodworker who unfortunately retired several years ago, and another (the rectangular leash rack shown below) was regularly available at a local hardware store that's no longer in business. As a result, these two styles are no longer available, though I still have one of the rectangular leash rack in the larger size (11 1/2" x 23 1/2" with 6 pegs) left in stock.

However there are a number of other designs that are available to order, and in some cases if you're interested in a particular size or shape, I may be able to find a suitable wood piece or have it made. Readily available shapes are several rectangular styles measuring approx. 8.5" x 11", and vertical 'sign' styles such as New England or French Provincial (which can also be done horizontally,) in sizes approx. 8" x 13". In ordering any of these leash racks you have a choice of either wooden pegs or metal hooks. The smaller sizes with hooks are great for keys and other small items as well.

Left: This leash rack was done as a trophy for the BCCC specialty. It's made of MDF, and has 4 pegs. The tartan pattern was completely hand painted, an extremely time consuming task!
